KP astrology, developed by Prof. K. S. Krishnamurti, uses the sub-lord and the Placidus house system to sharpen the analysis of one specific question. It is well suited to questions that can be framed clearly and answered with timing.

In consultation the two are often used together — the Vedic chart for context, KP for the specific question you came with.
